Tuesday, 17th March saw Mercator, throw its tradiditonal blue out of the window and adopt green for the St. Patrick's day celebrations. Another successful event goes down in the history of Mercator College. Saint Patrick's day of spring 2009 was marked by a lot of cold Guiness and Kilkenny, a lot of delicious Irish food and last but not least tons of good mood.

That was not all, a beginners lesson in Irish dancing was the highlight of the evening. The energetic and inspiring dance intructor tried to the best of her means to teach the enthusiasts some of the basic steps of those irish dances that often leave us dazzled by their sheer brirliance. As per traditon, the best dressed person for the event got prizes and this year, the winner of first place prize went to Madalina Bonta and Catalin Duta, followed closely in second place by Devashish Tikekar and the third spot went to Irina Stefana and Gabriel Boc.
