Slacklining in the Common Room?!
Madness, midterm-time freaking out, exotic hobby, a lot of free time combined with curiosity - call it as you wish, but this is fact: People are slacklining in the Common Room of Mercator! Perhaps you have seen it - almost every night, around midnight, red ropes are hanging between the pillars in our common room, music playing just as loud as not to disturb the quiet hours (khm...), and people smiling more than than what is acceptable for midterm period walking - or at least trying to, with varying success - on the abovementioned ropes. Well, if you have, just as your humble webmaster, wondered what the heck is going on - that is, as they will tell you, slacklining. Curious about more? Check out the album in the gallery with some motivating pictures ;-). Curious about even more? Well then, just put on something sporty and go check them out - they are easy to find! (That is, walk through the Common Room around 12 tonight).
