Welcome Niky and Vikram!

After more than four years of dedicated service, long sleepless nights with students, almost two dozens of CIDs and many memorable moments, our first and beloved college masters Mandy and Klaus Boehnke are leaving Mercator College. Prof. Boehnke will continue teaching at Jacobs University and both he and Mandy will continue to be active members of Mercator College and will actively participate it its social life as Honorary Members.

As some Mercatorians may already know, our new college masters, Vikram Unnithan and his wife Nicole Brauch have been close to Jacobs University and Mercator College for some time now. Prof. Unnithan teaches Geosciences at the School of Engineering and Science and his wife, Niky, is currently finishing work on her Ph.D. degree in Heritage. The proximity of their apartment (just across the fence from our terrace) allowed Vikram and Niky to take part in Mercator College social life and to follow the lives of its students from their window.” Apparently they decided that they liked what they saw :-) and after inquiring about the requirements and going through all the necessary procedures, they will be joining us at the very beginning of this semester.
