Who Should it be?

This announcement just came in from our COM. It is that time of the year again to nominate your Mercatorian of the year. Read on...

Dear All,
here is your chance to nominate that someone you have in mind, who you think deserves the “Mercatorian of the Year 2009” award.

Only students currently residing in Mercator College are eligible for nomination. It would be good if the student is socially active, well known in the college and in your opinion, someone who you think identifies with Mercator College. Other relevant attributes of the potential candidate could be his or her dedication to the college community and positive contributions made to the college. A deserving candidate can also be someone who, in addition to his curricular obligations, also makes time and space for the concerns of his fellow students. A person, who is friendly, tolerant and approachable, irrespective of interpersonal relationships.
If you have a current Mercator College student in mind, who you think deserves this award, please send me a short email or put a note in the suggestion box by the college office door, as soon as possible,  mentioning the name of the person and a sentence or two highlighting the reasons for your nomination.
