Mercator Pajama Spirit Day

The Pajama Spirit Day 2007 took place on Sunday, September 16th. After people in pajamas have been wandering the college during the whole day, the pinnacle event of this Spirit Day drew a massive crowd in the College Office at 22.00. In a matter of minutes the office was swarming with people, proudly sporting their sleeping attire - ranging from pink silky shorts to cosy robes - and showing off their plush toys (by the way, a quick statistical survey by the social scientists in the team showed that Bears and Frogs (?!) constituted the undisputed majority among non-living sleeping partners). The kitchen was literally all fire and brimstone with the Chef of the Night - in the role your humble webmaster, thank you - scrambling and frying the hell out of eggs and bacon in service of the insatiable Mercatorians. The event extended up until midnight and if it was not for the morning classes, it probably could have lasted until the early hours of the Monday. Well, maybe next time! :)
