Mercator Welcomes the Class of 2009

Mercator welcomed its new Mercatorians of the Class of 2009 on the 29th of August by following its short but strong tradition of "initiation". This year the "freshies" were treated to a wonderful mix of soft drinks (Coke, Fanta, Sprite) and vegetable juice after which they had to answer a delicate question about their personality in front of everyone. If they passed this test (which they all did of course :-)) they were sworn with a real sword by the Mercator RAs and were marked with the Mercator color blue. The evening then went on with non-alchoholic cocktails served by the College Office Team, lots of nice music and friendly conversations. Was it fun? Take a look at the pictures below...
